experience told me....
archival records told me that my contact had along history of emerging unscathed from any fracas she had been involved with.....or caused..
Still I would need to find out what she knew...if I could only trust her...

after laying in hiding for a few weeks and thus disappearing from the consciousness of others, it now seemed safe to resume activities.....
